Good choice! Sounds like you want the best snow possible however you understand that it may take a bit more work. Either you have located a source for block ice in your area or you plan to make your own using our ice molds or by purchasing a block ice maker.
Now you need to make one more decision! Do you need a 110/115 model (AC standard version), a 12 volt (DC), a 220 volt or a manual block machine. Review the following information, scroll the bottom and click on your choice.
110/115 volt If you have no idea most likely you will need the 110/115 volt. Choose that one. It is the type that will plug in almost any standard wall socket or generator.
12 Volt A 12 volt unit can be operated off any normal DC battery. Some of our customers have even hooked them up directly to their truck or car battery. Depending on the machine, you can get around 2 to 4 hours of continuous use out of one battery. We suggest using a deep-cycle marine battery and always keep one charged as a backup. You never know how busy you may be.
220 Volt This is the overseas version. If you intend on using the machine outside of the United States, this will most likely be the one you need. As always check with your local electrical codes.
Manual Machines Operating the machine where electricity is not available? Our manual machines may be just the machine you need!
