What forms of payment do you used?  Can I send a check or money order?

 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover through our online store. In addition, we accept checks and money orders through the mail that are in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Checks must also have a valid nine-digit bank routing number (ABA code), located on the bottom of the check. Checks will require a ten day waiting period before shipment will occur.

Do you charge sales tax?

 

State laws require companies to collect sales tax from residents where the company has established offices. The 1-800-Shaved-Ice.com main office and warehouse is in North Carolina; therefore we only collect sales tax on orders shipped to locations in the state of North Carolina. No sales tax will be charged on shipments outside of North Carolina.

 

If you intend to purchase items for resale and your business in located in the state of North Carolina, download Form-E-590, NC Department of Revenue Certificate of Resale. At 1-800-Shaved-Ice.com, we try to give you a variety of shipping choices while keeping your costs to a minimum.

US Priority Mail - shipments to APO/FPO, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam
US Airmail Parcel - shipments to Canada


Orders received Monday through Friday by 1 PM Eastern time will usually, but not always, ship same day. Orders received on weekends, holidays or after 1 PM Eastern will usually ship the next business day. Some large orders or machine orders may not ship until 2 to 4 days. If you have any concerns or deadlines, please give us a call at 1-800-742-8334.

 

Orders shipped via UPS Ground will take from 2 to 7 business days for transit. 

Orders shipped via 3 Day Select will take 3 business days from date of shipment. 

Orders shipped via 2 Day Air will take 2 business days from date of shipment. 

Orders shipped via Next Day Air will take 1 business day from the date of shipment. 

 

UPS and FedEx do not count the day the order was shipped. In addition, they observe all major holidays.

 

Orders shipped via US Priority Mail will take 2 to 4 days, however the transit time is not guaranteed by the US Postal Service. 

 

Canadian orders ship via US Airmail Parcel Post to Canada will take from 5 to 10 business days, however the transit time is not guaranteed by the US Postal Service.

 

Most larger orders will be shipped LTL (Less than Truckload) Motor Freight through FedEx Freight Services and will take between 2 to 7 business days

What are your shipping rates? How do you charge for shipping?

 

Like most catalog and Internet retailers, 1-800-Shaved-Ice.com charges for shipping. Due to the nature of our items, the shipping and handling cost is based on weight. Once you place your order, our online software will automatically calculate your exact shipping charges based upon your address and the weight of the items you purchased. However our website cannot calculate shipping charges for orders weighing over 150 lbs. For these heavier shipments, we will calculate the shipping charges and add the charges to your invoice.

Where's my order?

 

When you place an order with 1-800-Shaved-Ice.com, we automatically send you an order confirmation via email. The email includes all the pertinent information such as the date of your order, products ordered, shipping address, mailing address, and total cost including shipping and any applicable taxes. In addition, we include a link (at the top of the email) where you can view you order status any time. This link will carry you to your original order form. From there you can check to see if you products have been shipped and if so, get the UPS Tracking number for your shipment. A tracking number may not be available for items shipped via US Postal Service or items that are drop shipped.

Do you ship outside the United States?

How long will my order take to arrive to my destination?

 

Orders received Monday through Friday by 1 PM Eastern time will usually, but not always, ship same day. Also shipping transit days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays.

 

Orders shipped via US Priority Mail will take 2 to 4 days, however the transit time is not guaranteed by the US Postal Service.


Canadian orders shipped via US Airmail Parcel Post to Canada will take from 5 to 10 business days, however the transit time is not guaranteed by the US Postal Service.

In fact our company is proud that, after serving tens of thousands of customers, we have less than a 1/2% return rate on all our orders. This is almost unheard of in the retail and wholesale industry. We have achieved this excellent service by offering world class customer service and high quality products. However, we understand that occasionally, our products may not meet your high expectations. Thus, we have implemented the following return policy for our product line. 

 

Return Policy

 

1-800-Shaved-Ice.com offers a "No Questions Asked" 100% Money Back Guarantee on all of our products. In essence, if you are unsatisfied with any of our products, simply return them within 30 days for a full refund (less shipping and handling). Returns of snow cone and shaved ice machines will only be accepted when the machine is returned in brand new, unused, mint condition, in original packaging only. Shaved Ice Machines and Snow Cone Machines that have been operated, tested, or are in an unsellable condition cannot be returned under any circumstances. To return items, please call us at 1-800-Shaved-Ice (1-800-742-8334) and ask for a Return Authorization number. Then, carefully repack the items in the packaging they came in and return them to:

On the outside of the return package or box, please write the return authorization number. Shipments without a return authorization number on the outside of the package will be refused. Be sure to enclose a copy of the original invoice so that we can issue a credit for the refund. We suggest shipping your items via UPS or Federal Express so that you can track your return if needed. Insurance is highly recommended for your return items as we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. Damaged returns will be refused and shipped back to customers at their expense. Customers must pay return and original shipping costs. Items returned without a return authorization number will be refused. Items returned after 30 calendar days from the date of purchased will be charged a 30% restocking fee.
