Great choice! The cube ice shavers are by far the most popular type of shaved ice machines that we sell. We take it that you understand the ice will not be as fluffy as the block machines but the cube ice shavers will be much more convenient.
Now you need to make one more decision! Do you need a 110/115 model (AC standard version) or a 12 volt (DC - battery) model. Review the following information, scroll the bottom and click on your choice.
110/115 volt If you have no idea most likely you will need the 110/115 volt. Choose that one. It is the type that will plug in almost any standard wall socket or generator.
12 Volt A 12 volt unit can be operated off any normal DC battery. Some of our customers have even hooked them up directly to their truck battery. Depending on the machine, you can get around 2 to 4 hours of continous use out of one battery. We suggest using a deep cycle marine battery and always keep one as a backup. You never know how busy you may be.
